BCXOLR - THE BCX OFF LINE REPOSITORY
OF YAHOO GROUPS MESSAGES AND BCX CODE SNIPPETS

 



Introduction

The BCXOLR project is intended to provide a repository of the Yahoo! BCX Group messages and
code snippets where BCX users can get answers and add their own notes and useful snippets of code.
The Project was started 1/30/2006 and we have achieved the end goal.

About 400 BCX code snippets have been added and all 43k Yahoo BCX Group messages are available.
All previous Yahoo! BCX Group messages collected over the past 20 years are contained in the
BCXOLR database with additional code snippets being added as time allows.

BCXOLR is FREEWARE.
All source code has mostly been written entirely by the team except for some snippets included in the files.

Doyle Whisenant provided the GUI and basic functions from his Snippets.exe code.
Fernando Ortiz provided much of the software to download and organize the 1st 35k messages.
Ian Casey added the database etc.

SnippetExplorer v 1.03 Released
Added provision to allow 20k messages/snippets per database
Updated DB files to 10k, so less DB's to search
Added function to search field to allow enter key to begin search.

Added multiple files allowed to be added at 1 time, fixed a couple of small bugs. Highlighting  of search words, wordwrap.
Added GUI snippets and Misc Snippets.    We Need more!
