I confirm your observation but am at a loss when this started or what is causing it.
I am looking into it.

James,

I created a test project named "abc"

I added abc.bas to that project.

Opening the empty (abc.bas) inside the FB editor, if I press the backspace key, your IDE crashes.

There may be other killer keystrokes lying in wait.

I found it I think.
I fired up bc9 and all worked.
I copied the bcEdit.exe and ini from BcxAdp to the bc9 folder and all worked.
The Bcx version of BcEdit is not the same as the bc9 one but close.
This suggested it was not the editor or the ini file but what?
Maybe the FbEdit.dll? Nope both the same.
The first sub folder I noticed missing in the BcxAdp Folder, "Api", I added and all worked.
Was it always this way?? I don't know if I ever tested with a new edit page instead of loading??

Anyway a bit more testing and the a new upload
