Title: IDE for BCX ?
Post by: jbk on October 30, 2020, 01:43:02 PM
I know that BCX comes with a fine editor named JFE, does anyone use other IDE's with BCX ?
I am interested for an alternative because JFE's author is nowhere to be found and the latest release is from around 2010

Hi jbk:

I use JFE as my main BCX editor. It has most of the features that I need and has the best keyword colour syntax scheme of all. I also use Geany a lot for searching in files and as well Notepad++ for some specialized parsing tasks. I also have EditPad Lite but have only used it for very large files.

JFE is the only one I use as an IDE. Attached is a screenshot of my setup.

I am working on BcxAdp (Application Development Platform) a full IDE for Bcx.
No time frame yet but soon.
