VMware used to be my favorite virtualization software but ever since it was acquired by Broadcom it's usefulness is fast diminishing.
the problem with the disappearing address bar and menu items in Windows Explorer are said to be due to outdated video drivers which I can no longer get updates to
about a year ago I started migrating some of my Windows VMs to VirtualBox, it took a lot of searching and trial&error but I managed to migrate some of the said VMs to VBox, when I was ready to proclaim success, the Windows VM reported that the hardware had changed too much and a new license was needed, that's when I put VBox in the back burner, but today I fired-up VBox and the Windows VM says it's activated!, maybe there's hope after all  :)
<edit> there's one virtualization software that I consider #1 and that is  Parallels Desktop but it's Mac only and they have switched to a subscription model which I hate

Tried that numerous times here, up to 10 times, with no issues. I'm running Windows 11 fully patched.

Any other data/details you can provide? Be glad to help if I can.

I use virtual machines frequently via VMware, I have several Windows 11 VM's and they have developed the problem of disappearing address bar, menu items and the context menu just shows a blank rectangle
try this, open and close a folder about 4 or 5 times and see if all is well or not
searching online I find that others have the same problem and it's not related to a VM
