Robert,

It's been a disastrous and heartbreaking fire season in Arizona, as well the other western states.

The photo you posted is about 7 miles east of my winter home near Apache Junction -
those are the https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Superstition_Mountains in the background.

I'm currently at my summer home in  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Payson,_Arizona and it's not much better.
Another 2,700 acre file about 40 miles away and a new 50+ acre fire about 15 miles away and we're still getting high altitude smoke from the California fires.

So yeah ... more hell than heaven right now. 
Thankfully, a little monsoon moisture is in the forecast, so we are keeping our fingers crossed.
