Like many of the other BCX meta-statements, the $TEST directive is like a toggle. The lines of code that are to be tested are sandwiched between two $TEST directives.

$TEST can be implemented from the BCX translator command line by using the -w switch. This will cause BCX to test the whole program being translated.
